Moments In Time

Glad you are here. Welcome to the space I call "Moments In Time," where I feature various forms of creative activities captured in a single image or recorded events. I have been interested in photography and videography but never tried to explore and learn more about it. I have always been a spectator, visually engaged as I view beautiful photos and watch amazing artists' videos.

I am near retirement, and I think it is not too late to start a new venture to be the creator behind the camera. Learning new things is a mental exercise for people my age, sharpening the mind and maintaining the faculty of imagination. It will keep me up to float on my golden years.

So I am ready to learn. Join me in this journey. Watch and help me grow.

COTTON IN GENTLE SKY

One morning I looked up and saw formed clouds in the sky. What can be an ordinary sight to others can be so unique to some. So I got a camera and took a snapshot, thinking at first how I can make the beauty of what I see be visible or distinctive to others.I took a picture with palm leaves and bushes unevenly framing the clouds. When I see cotton-like clouds in the sky, there is a sense of calmness and peace. I feel the tenderness and gentleness of my being.

It is an amateur shot using a non-professional tool, my Ipad camera. I was more engaged with how I feel about the scene above me. I need to explore and discover the art of capturing a site, whether a still image or recording an event that would make it more telling to others.

I am excited to learn and mold myself to be a cool Mom or Grandma, one day perhaps with the most excellent hobby.

Soon, I would be providing myself with essential pieces of equipment to help bring about, hopefully, excellent results.
